Sixteen/12, mostly known for their series of 12-inch scale Eagle spacecraft dioramas, was at the London Toy Fair this week showing off a lot of exciting new products for 2020! As well as 12th-scale action figures (including spacesuit figures) and more new spaceship models, they announced 1:1 scale replicas of the key props for the show, the laser stun gun and the Commlock.

Here are a bunch of screengrabs I enhanced from the video they are showing on their Facebook page. No official price was announced but I have heard about 150GBP ($190) for the set.

The electronics on the laser are lame but I will be getting these.

I’m surprised the Wand Co. has not already done these, the Comm Lock would be one helluva remote!!

It's a matter of licensing, I'm sure everyone has been avoiding Space 1999 until recently for fear that not enough people cared. They should have known better.

I'm with Apollo on the laser electronics, and the use of colored perspex on the four side buttons is not accurate, but at that price point for a set, I'm also in :)

There are lots of issues. The fonts on both the commlock buttons and the laser stun/kill switch are wrong (and the color green on STUN is wrong, should be black).

I'm a year one fan anyway, so that honking big slider switch would have to go, but oh well.

The electronics in the commlock sound kind of lame, only two static screen images are shown. It's not clear how many buttons are functional, or even if one button at least is dedicated to the door-opening "beep" (the defining function of a commlock!!!)... at this rate, replacement electronics with full video, would be a must.

And on the laser stungun too, the blinky random Christmas-lights effect in the emitters is tragic. Folks will want to replace that.

However it's early days yet so let's see how far they take it!

Where? got a link?
Here it is, not the same as what is being talked about here, but this was what I built from a resin garage kit.

I believe you are looking at the release from a couple of years ago and not the new release which is not on their website yet.

These are available for preorder at some reseller sites.

Looking at the images and pics again, it looks like the metal parts may be 'chromed plastic' and the the seam down the front of the laser makes it look like a toy. Would like to see some actual specs on these, may stick with the ones I already have have after all.
