Source for prop sculpting foam - Michigan/online

Hey there!

I run a fab lab in Muskegon, MI and was lucky enough to run across a retired movie studio prop builder. We are trying to find a source for small blocks of the sculpting foam. He could get it shipped from CA at $700 for a 4'x8" sheet with $200 for shipping but that just won't do.

Anyone have any sources I could get small blocks from at a reasonable price?

We want to run some workshops on how to sculpt props

That's where I get my closed-cell from, and it would be relatively close for you. I don't think they have balsa foam, but I know they offer polystyrene/ etc, and it's free shipping at $75. Might be an option, they have always treated me well.

Well the Dollar Tree always has green /floral foam it is a little soft but does work well for project depending on what your making.
