Moon was great, but that trailer does nothing for me. Too 'seen it all before'. Pun intended.

Not gonna be a bad film, but, I dunno, Moon was cool because of its Silent Running/Dark Star/2001 pacing, discretion and quietness. This looks louder, a bit more business as usual. The military types don't convince me; there's gonna be a love story; showy cgi creeping in; music sounds like the deliberately insane over-the-top theme to Brass Eye. They obviously cut the trailer in a loud MTV style to pull in audiences - maybe the actual film'll feel different.

Minor points:

1.) I still haven't seen Moon, but it's on my Netflix list.

2.) I had no idea Duncan Jones was David Bowie's kid. Kooks indeed.

3.) This looks pretty interesting, actually. I like concept films.

Apparently when SW came out Bowie and the 7 year-old Zowie (Jones) made stop-motion animated home movies of SW toy figures together; they were both nuts about the film.

Interesting side note about Duncan Jones...graduated from College of Wooster right down the street from where I live.

I have read that his next movie after Source Code is going to be a tribute to Blade Runner. Can't wait to see something from it.
