It's been so long since the 97's special edition releases that I might just pick these up in spite of myself.

I might get the Ultimate Soundtrack Edition. I know it'll offend all you vinyl "purists" out there, but having grown up with audiophiles and with an impressive vinyl collection myself, I have unashamedly switched to CD since the fidelity and resolution caught up. I got the '97 Special Edition soundtrack releases, and I love them. I'd be getting this more for AOTC and ROTS, which I kept waiting for two-disc collector's editions of and never saw, the interviews, and the documentary DVD.

Amazon page states 10 cd's plus one dvd. One cd is an interview. So is this just a re-release of the OT two-disc albums plus PT one-disc albums? Any remastering?

I don't think it's been recorded yet. I believe composed as we speak, though.

Reason I asked is because during the prequels the soundtrack was recorded in Feb and the film released some three months later in May
