I came up with an idea for a Halloween costume this morning. I stopped by the thrift shop after work, spent about $10, and created this costume in one day. I'm pretty happy with it.
I had the leather vest from a Dog The Bounty Hunter costume I wore a few years ago. The back is not leather, but for a 3 hour build, I'm okay with it. I just free hand drew the artwork for the patches onto craft foam, and glued the craft foam to the vest. I used a combo of flexible fabric glue and high temp hot glue. We shall see how it holds in a day or two...
Just need to pick up a wig, and add a few accessories... I'm hoping for a good likeness of "Tig" Traeger.
I realize that the "Opie" patch and the "Sgt. at Arms" patch don't follow an accurate timeline, but I just felt like adding both.
Thanks for reading! Happy Halloween!
