A while back I asked about modeling water. hHere's the reason. By the way, the Boeing is in the same scale as the Hercules.

Cool display. Never seen a size comparison before. She was a big bird.

As an adult, that is precisely why I've learned to love the "Scale" aspect of scale modeling! Pretty cool isn't it!?

Sooner or later I'll post similar pics of the Queen Mary and the Titanic, in the same scale...

You should put the "Spruce Goose" in a display next to the Queen Mary. :p

Well, if the scales are close enough.

Being a So Cal guy, maybe you've already thought of it. ;)

Thanks Bryan, and the invite is always open! I'm only ten minutes from the D&B we met at. I may even do a small get together at my place sometime in the next 6-12 months...

That water turned out great, PHA :thumbsup

I have to get up the nerve to try it one day, but maybe after I'm more comfortable with my regular modeling skills.

You host the party and I will bring the beer! Drive it all the way from PHX!!

Couple quick notes on the model:
No props as I am (clearly) simulating flight
The gold plaque is loose; not attached
Scant as they were, I lost the decal sheet so no markings
