Some more to my Star Trek Collection

With a weekend to myself and an old sewing machine given to me I thought I'd try my hand at drawing up some patterns and making some costumes.

I used my screen used Operations (Gold) ST: Voyager costume as a guide to create the science/medical version (teal coloured)

The future costume is my latest attempt. Its not as perfect as I would have liked but no doubt i'll make some more.

The colour in the pictures make it look a lot brighter than they actually are. The red in particular are more of a berry/wine colour. As you can see with the screen used original it looks more yellow than gold.. Its just the light.

Please... Let me know what you think.. (n)thumbsup

Ah, yes. I did the teal Voyager costume and the Red future costume in two days. The others I had made before..

Im tempted to start another but it is very difficult to find the correct colours in the correct fabrics.

I wanted a decent looking costume. Not to wear really but more to have in my collection. I taught myself.. With the help of youTube tutorials. I've made about 6 costumes now. The first was awful !!

I am trying to make a Nemesis style one now. Just to get the correct fabrics.

The zippers are quite difficult to hide completely. I had no idea the screen used costumes were made to such a high standard.
