So you finish a costume... Then what??

My ironman costume is nearing completion and i plan to wear it to see ironman 3, and again at halloween, but then what? When else can i get use out of it?

Comic-cons. Sporting events. Birthday parties. And of course you should build a mannequin to display it in your house of you have the room!

I've read numerous posts on here where people in costume visit children's wards in hospitals. I'm sure they'd love a visit from Iron Man.

But seriously though, after putting a large amount of work into a costume get some use out of it and do some good. There are quite a few costume groups that do community/charity work and most members cross genre lines. So if you don't have a local Avenger/Marvel group get in touch with the 501st folks, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I thought about a visit to sick kids hospital. Even a visit to my old school, to show kids a creative side that they may not have known about...GM

We have a group called Reel icons here in the UK, its a sister club of the 501st. Reel icons is movie based costume group other than starwars genre. If your on facebook, search for Reel icons and pop in and say hello. We have loads of events each year, all for very good causes. There is a strict clearance proceedure to get going, but thats only detailed shots of your suit ect.

I tossed my costume in storage room with everything else. XD it's now taking up space and collection dust. Until I decide to make a new suit.
