So... would this work? (cheap mannequin alternative)

If I need a human figure (minus head, hands, and feet) would it work to put on a form-fitting shirt and pants, stand in the pose I want, and have someone brush them with resin to make them rigid (with some sort of protection between my body and resin, of course - like covering myself in plastic wrap first.) Kind of like super-ghetto fibberglass. Cut the pieces down the sides (so I can get out), tape them back together, and if need be, fill the inside with spray foam. I can think of any reason why this wouldn't work but I'm sure there are plenty... thoughts?

I wouldn't recommend brushing on resin with you inside - aside from the fumes and risk of soaking through to your skin, think of the heat as the resin cures!

Have you thought about a duck tape bodyform which you can infill/add resin to later?
