So where do you post complaints about over zealous Moderators?

I can't seem to find a forum for this type of thread, what's the matter, you guys above reproach?

Post it here and they will come I would imagine.

You could always pm the Mods responsible. But clearly you have something you want to get off your chest.

Isn't there already a flame forum at Dr Strangelove's OT?

I am in PM contact with a MOd but some things should be discuss publicly, unless that's forbidden????

Well it's a public forum.

The Mods are just people. (underpaid/undervalued/underappreciated and to a man/woman their personal hygiene cannot be questioned ;) )

Is it an issue with a policy, or implementation of a policy? That should be publicly discussed IMHO

Unless it's a personal attack on someone I don't see why you shouldn't post.

David I don't believe it's permitted.

And why wouldn't it be??? if it's something that one of the party's members wishes to bring up, and it was never requested to remain private, then why not??

I agree Aegis it should be but based on the fact the feedback forum was closed. I would say the message is pretty clear.

Did you actually have a moderation question or was this the question? :)

No, we are not above reproach and, shockingly, we are not perfect. However, we are perfectly willing to discuss things with people who will maintain calm and don't feel the need to resort to name calling, vague accusations, extreme reactions or asking the same question over and over until they get the answer they want.

How about people asking the same question over and over again because they never get a straight answer?

Ok, here's the answer and since this post really doesn't fit this forum, it should be removed however it will be locked at this time but stay so that those wondering why he is upset will know.

Over the last two years,Wampa answered it for BD. Prop Replicator answered it for BD. I answered it and tried to reason with BD simply because we've had a good relationship. BD is unhappy that the JY was created as a seperate forum as he feels it gives less exposure to his sales projects. BD is a loyal, patriotic, crusty, hard nosed old US Marine and he is never going to give up one inch of beach head. It's ingrained into every Marine I know and respect. Just tough to deal with diplomatically because the Marines are sent in where diplomacy fails.

1- Interest threads go in the JY
2- Sale threads go in the JY.
We don't catch every single instance where this happens.
If anyone sees someone else posting above in another forum, hit the report button, we will move them. We don't catch every single instance where this happens.

In the JY, the seller has more control over what is placed in the thread. The thread is more like a classified ad. That is a good thing.
