ptgreek Active Member Jul 24, 2010 #3 if you are talking about smoothing it out to work with it better, use a heat gun to soften the clay ..then place the clay that are going to use in a tray under a heat lamp ..it will be fairly workable then

xdmray Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2010 #5 i use mineral spirits to smooth NSP Chavant with a paper towel. also with a kidney rubber tool.
