Smallville Prop question

does anyone have any idea what type of jacket clark kent wears in the show ?

it just looks like a store bought red jacket but i can't find any thing on it.

On the Season 5 DVD extras they said that the jackets were beige or brown (I think) and then they were dyed red but they never said what brand they were.

I know they are canvas jackets. I have an exact copy made either from croft & barrow or sonoma.

Ditto on that. Watching the rerun right now and I'm remember how much I like his jackets. Knowing the right jacket would be great.

Sorry I dont have it. I got it at Kohls in the store. It was around this time when I saw it or early fall.

if the link doesnt work, go to outerwear (mens), lightweight, and its a sonoma denim one. theres a canvas barn one, but it doesnt look quite right.

theres even a 10% off coupon, or 15% off if you have a kohls card. nifty.

Nope thats not the one I have. I looked on kohls website and they have stopped selling the jacket I bought but these two are the closest I've found.

I have that jacket in the link posted above in the brown and its really nice. I am considering getting it in blue

One minor thing is that they don't have the front zipper but that doesn't matter. I can see if I can find myself a ditial camera to show you what my jacket looks like.

yeah i noticed the lack of the zipper but all in all it looks pretty decent

im gonna ask a stupid question probaly but where could go for some one to Dye that red ?

A dry cleaner might be able to do it. Another option might be a dress maker or brides store.

It's not a stupid question. I don't knwo where to go but I'm pretty sure members here have had experience with dying issues.
