I'm a Futurama fan, so I know the episode! Not the first episode I'd think of for a costume, but I guarantee people will recognize Slurm and know what show it's from, and it's always good to do something unique that hasn't been done a million times before.

Great work on the pattern. In that first picture, the writing is backwards, so you've definitely done it the right way around.
