gorilla glue or loctite epoxy or any type of super glue is fine, i only recommend that because it will hold it in place. Once it is in place i would definitely reinforce

Sorry to hear that.. I havent had any issues so far, that is the best way to pack them by far...keeps the back the right width.

And I use loctite.. you will want to be careful how wide you start making the "wings" since they have to fit into the front piece proper.

Its odd that it just snapped off.. my shop copy has be dropped on concrete on numerous occasions and not very well taken care of..still like new.

And feel free to post up a paint up here.. I will do the same once I get the finishing work going full steam.. just way too hot at the moment [emoji14] 100.4 F last time I looked :(
as for the fiberglass resin part, any tips on how to do that? this would be my first time doing it. I haven't had an issue like this with any helmets I've had before, so I want to be as careful as possible moving forward.

I'm over cautious and have fiberglassed many times. If you've never done it before, then it would probably be an overkill in this situation...i'd take TheRocketeer advice on the epoxy [emoji106]

Got my kit yesterday....WOW! What amazing detail in the helmet and super clean. It even fits my large head easily! Well worth the wait for the V2. Rocket, I have to say, you are an artistic genius! Thanks so much for offering these. I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone. Also, once I figure out how to cleanly cut the braided hose, I will post the solution.

His led kit is really neat. This is what I have so far as I'm waiting on the missing parts that were left out on my helmet in order to finish this.

Looking good! that screen mesh goes behind the breather on the inside of the tube. You'll have to cut out the circle on the breather and place the mesh behind the lip and glue it in. I had to paint that area again due to me missing it the first time
