As I was browsing down the thread I was just thinking, "He really needs to do a Vader one!" As soon as I got to the end, there it was! These look awesome.

What kind of clay are you using to make you're helmets? Or is it some other kind of putty material?

thanks,I use epoxy putty,mix apart A and B and after a couple hours turns hard, and sometimes use automotive bondo.

the Skull Vader helmet first round almost finished, i'm working on Skull trooper helmet V2 too.

What's neat is that in a way, your alternate creation kind of punctuates the alien organic/robot feel to the original Stormtrooper look and feel that's lost with me on the TFA helmets. Those look more like motorcycle helmets.

Anyway, not precisely on topic. But it was meant as a compliment to your modification. It just works in a creepy mythical way that Star Wars baddies used to feel like to me.
