Sizing foam patterns

Good morning!

I have a basic foam dome helmet pattern in a pdf file and I am trying to size it for my head or my son's head size. I know the circumference for each. I tried printing the PDF at 80% and it's still too large. Is there a way to measure the curved lines to make sure they are the proper size BEFORE printing and wasting paper on trial and error?

Thanks!

At 80% on an adult head or a kid's head? Just use measurements from what you have already created and then measure yourself and do the appropriate percentage. Part / Whole for percentage.

Measure front to back and widest part side-to-side. But realize heads can be flat or round. You may have to tweak.

When I use Pep I usually have to measure for each piece. What we see in movies and anime is not scaled to normal humans
