Size of mesh slots on Vader ANH belt boxes

Anyone know the correct dimensions of these slots? I've heard that Russrep's are not exact making it very difficult to scale what would be the correct mesh.

Are Russrep's slots too long? Too short? Too tall? etc?

Have you lost your mind? You didn't seriously think some one here was going to give you measurements to the nearest 1mm did you :lol

There is probably only one person on the planet who knows that info and that's the person who owns the original.

All I can suggest is that you get the measurements of the known items like the green and red LEDs (which I don't have btw). It would appear that the mesh cutout length is the same as 3 green LED's and 1 red LED high give or take a mm or two :p

If you think you got the correct mesh, then just take a good hi-res picture of the beltboxes, and count the mesh rows and columns

But if the slots are the wrong size then the wrong number of rows and columns will show :confused

I would say that I think the slots were 1/2" tall. I think the length of Russ' slots is O.K.
I will look into this more tonight.

Yes they do look 'OK', however I have it from an expert that they are not exact.

I did some rough scaling from the poor reference photos of the original. Not saying I'm accurate or anything but looks like Russrep's slots are a tad too long. Not sure if they're the right height because I couldn't scale accurately.

This mesh is metal, aluminium I think.

I only managed to get enough for two sets. One I'm keeping for my boxes, the other is being offered to the first on my interest list.

WOW, that stuff looks nice.

Can you get more of it?

Rear layer? What rear layer? :lol

It Does look Nice, but, the rear layer is to thin..should be the same size as the front.

The search goes on...

The way I count it then it is slightly too high, one bar and row - yours have 5 rows and 5 bars, whereas the box in the reference picture looks to have 4 rows and 3 or 4 bars - but definitely not too long, as I count 8 rows and 7 bars on both yours and the reference box.

I think he means the vertical bars... they appear thinner than the horizontal bars.

Ah, but the rows (i.e the holes in the mesh) are slightly too long on this mesh which compensates for the slots being too long.
