Sintra Tool Advise

I've been lurking around this great forum for a while. I'm looking to get into some armor type costume making. I've poured over this forum, and other sources to get an idea of what tools to start with. I'm looking at things like a scroll saw, band saw, or sanding disc/belt. I want a good way to shape and bevel.

You guys have a lot of information and do great work.

A good utility knife, lots of blades, an Xacto knife, and a Dremel will get you a long ways. Save the bigger tools until you get a better handle on the material. Oh and get a good heat gun! Good Luck!
