Great job. What are the internal ringed segments made from?

One thing that always helps 'sink tube' sabres is weathering. The PVC and especially thin metal tubes can sometimes be so thin--the sabre ends up looking cheap and fake. Similarly, the high chrome shine that so many metal tubes have really ruins the aesthetics & emotional 'feel' of the sabre--its 'reality' is diminished.

Not in this case! The weathering really lends it a sense of history, of age that so many items in the original trilogy had. You didn't go overboard with greeblies--kept it simple and elegant.

My only minor quibble is the screen in the emitter area. Just a great looking hardware sabre.

The ribbed section is vinyl flooring I picked up from home depot and thanks for the compliment you got me thinking I'll upgrade the emitter

Gotta agree with everything jediscout wrote in post #2; the weathering makes it look like anything but a sink tube lightsaber. Well done!
