lol I'll have to see if I have a picture of my brother's pole-shield, it's made of lexan.

He works as a blaster cleaning slag from inside power plants and one of the blasts shot some slag THROUGH his shield.
It actually went through his helmet too but it barely grazed his head.. lucky guy.
