Hello, after making the Gurren Lagann suit I realized how much better everything could have been had I used my time more effectively. Im working on Silver Crow from Accel World in hopes to showcase it with my friend whos also doing Cyan Pile from Accel World at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo in Alberta. Its an ongoing project so I would love any tips you have for me

Started to Model again just to cosplay, going to make it all myself

And this is where I'm at. Im starting the back piece tomorrow and the legs this weekend. Wings will be last since they're optional
 
I was just wondering, do you have the whole Pepakura design for the costume?
If yes, could I maybe buy it or get it of you?
Been wanting to do the Silver Crow costume since I saw the anime xD
 
I dont mind sending you my work thus far, I free handed my bracers and gauntlets along with my boots, lower and upper legs. everything else its all trial and error through scales and edits.
 
that would be awesome if I could get the files that you have, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the end result of your costume will be, looks really good now xD
 
I just finished this series yesterday and I can't wait to see this finished. are the wings going to be mate or reflective?
 
hey I was wondering what materials are you using to make the suit? I couldn't tell by looking at it. And how are you going to make the visor?

I'm really curious cause I want to make a Cyan Pile cosplay and want to know what material you're using or would be best to use to make it with.

and my Styrofoam armor is ready for sealants and paint. (some of my Escaflowne armor is there too)

Tell you guys what ill post the files once were both done that way ill have the correct files for you
 
that armor looks awesome if you do end up posting the files im going to have to build me a set,also can i ask what 3d modeling program your useing ? very nice work keep it up
 
I use Maya3d, it's easy to use. I started to fiberglass and ill post pics once it's all sanded and ready to go
 
Wow, really good job so far! I've been waiting for someone to finally do a Silver Crow costume. To add to that you are also making a Cyan Pile... There's going to be plenty of bondo in your future.

For all of us that can't use a 3d modeling program to save our lives, would you ever consider posting the pep files?

Keep us updated!!! This is one of my favorite characters, from one of my favorite animes!!
 
after learning form all my mistakes with scaling and struts etc, I quickly made a new file but I have yet to unwrap all of it. That will have to come after this is all down, I got only 2 weeks left to finish this costume I hope I make it in time

sorry friend, wanted to know if I could spend SILVER CROW armor and CYAN PILE because my brother and I want to try to make cosplasy, because we loved the series of ACCEL WORLD
