Silicone Rubber for casting.

I am looking for the cheapest, easiest to work with and in less time, without the "compression" or PSI procedure stuff, SILICONE RUBBER to make a mold for casting. Think about a face mold to then cast it.

Any suggestions or direction to include brands, will be really appreciated.

Allumilite quick set found in every Hobby Lobby is great for beginner casting. It is very easy to use and dries in about 5 hours. It was the first silicone I ever worked with.

Smooth-On seems like a good company so far as I have dealt with them and with other members suggesting them they may be a good place to go to. I am still working on my sculpt (Twi'lek Mando helm) but once it is done Smooth-On is who I have decided to go to.

I too look forward to their body double, looks like good stuff.

Hope to see a build thread of yours!

SMOOTH-ON....I even have their DVD of their products, and really interested in the BODY DOUBLE, and I am looking forward also for ALJA-SAFE for casting my own face and/or hands (silica free). I will go with them for that later on, but right now, I will look into Onimech'c alternative first since I have a Hobby Lobby closeby...that won't be a problem. :)

Thanks guys.
