Silent Runnings Valley Forge 10" Dome Kit

Hi Guys
Just wanted to show what we have done so far after the release of the 4 foot valley Forge.

Hope to have the dome ready for production in the coming weeks. There will be small cargo pods and a drone for the interior of the dome scaled to match.
There will be a large Cargo pod for the base and the connector arms will be exploded outwards.

Yes the 4 footer is still available ...
We did another run of them a few months ago and are down to 7. If your interested in getting one let me know . We will put 1 on hold if you need time to get the funds together.

Hi, back again
We milled the dome out of aluminum to make a master , gang molded it for a set of 6 then designed the grid mesh work in a computer and had it silk screened on to thermoform plastic and vac formed the domes .

We are going the same way for the 10" dome ..increase the scale on the grid patten but keep the line weight. Im thinking of trying to drill out the holes where the lines meet and trying to use some micro thread to simulate the copper ...that will add days to the build up ...not sure about it yet!!!!!

Hi again,
No build up of it yet ...still working on getting the master finished for molding.
I have built the forest for it and intend to do the lighting that is in the last scene of the movie.
We used the same cargo pod as the VF ship kit for the base to save money and also the dome kit is going to weigh a bit with the resin and wanted to give it a stable foundation. You dont have to use the pod if you dont want to . Its also in scale with a set of Drone kits that we produced a while back by another company.

UPDATE,
The 10" dome is in casting... hope to have one in my hands next week. Then on to the the build up. Got 4 other projects going in casting and build ups to do before WF. I will post pics on parts as soon as I have them.

The Dome kit will be available next week. Just a few parts left to do. I will be putting the instruction sheet together this weekend. I will try to post pics of the parts then also.
