Silence of the Lambs

At Wonderfest, I came across this fantastic sculpt by young Japanese artist Minoru Tanaka. (Here's his rendition of Deniro as Max Cady in Cape Fear: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tv/5728826390/in/set-72157626614106899). He had painted several busts of Dr. Lecter, and I couldn't resist picking one up to go with my most recent project.

What ever could he be sitting on?

I guess it's time to break the silence! I have a ton of people to thank for their contributed reference and patience on the project! My friend Steph made the wallet. It was a time-consuming but interesting research / recreation project and I'm glad to finally be done!

There are three different sets of IDs used in the film. Starling's temporary credentials, her graduation set on camera and a graduation set for promo shots.

Promo ID:

Shared between the three is a similar photo of Starling. The promo ID and film ID have differing badges and cases, but the cards are similar (but the signatures are not the same). The promo set is the same as one of the sets used in the X-files (not the one with the hand-carved shield). I chose to replicate the movie set as the badge is closer to what a real FBI badge looks like.

Yes, Dr. Lecter's head is about the size of a Barbie's. They don't play well together.

GREAT WORK! looks fantastic could you possibly send me the template for that top part of the badge specifically the little logo that says FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. I cant seem to find a clear copy of this anywhere i found some on google but the image quality was horrible and had "retired" printed over it. I'm almost done with the one im making just need that logo so id be very thankful if you could send me urs :love
