Steve said "this predator stalks and terrorize his prey and get thrills from making the hunter the hunted." Full of bull...Do you think the predator would let anyone stalk or terrorise him. If both preds meet there's gonna be a hell of a fight, your talking about 2 hunters here. The stalker looks like he's killing from behind or when he's preys asleep, sounds coward to me. When batman fought a predator and won, the loser(predator) killed himself out of disgrace in front of other preds. And as far as the predators movie goes the classic pred beaten and battered still put up a fight against the berserker. So do you really think the stalker can instill fear on other preds when they dont fear dying?. ****** a predator even fight a T-Rex in one of the statues I have seen, so the stalker is baloney and gay hes been created simply for money. I may not be familiar with the pred universe but one things for sure you don't mess with the predator even if your SW. Next point if you push the design for the predator far enough getting to this point, trust me the movie would have been crap and I would not have been a fan of this monster. Peace

Read through this board THOROUGHLY, go watch the movies a couple of dozen times, watch the behind-the-scenes stuff, read the books and comics...then come in here and offer your KNOWLEDGEABLE opinion.

As much as I'm not sold on the design of the bio (mainly the blades) I think the idea behind it is amazing, its like another branch in the pred mythos. In Predators the bad bloods must have hunted the P1 to catch him. As far as terrorising him, I can't imagine being tied to the pole was a nice experience.

I don't see why the pred can't be changed, the bios through to the faces have changed in every film so whats the problem with Steve changing it now?

Well, his FB comment was adressed to my comment I left him, but applied to all of those who say it isn't predator enough.

I replied back with the following, the italic sentence is my main thing with predators (and all the predators we've seen on screen from P1 to Predators, even the AVP ones)

Oh, but I get your angle on this piece, and I really admire the piece as far as concepting goes.

Hell, one fan did a design you did for AVP-R, and it looked awesome!

I just voice the general consensus under predator fans who tend to like the first two films a whole lot better.

I agree we've seen just a glimpse of the whole species, and as much as European medieval armor is different from Japanese and Persian armor, they all originated from the same human beings we are.

Looking forward to the other, and hopefully even more in the future! This one has been growing on me with every time I see it, and I just LOVE the eyes glowing blue...

I don't know why but this bio really puts images in my head of an extremely high tech suit! Something very very metallic, and the pred itself would be significantly slimmer / agile.

And yes I saw the films like most fans here not as much as you. Cos you probably watch them more than a dozen of times. But sadly I'm not as rich as you are who can afford all the comics and books etc. I think you'll buy anything that's predator related just so you can say you got one. You can speak your opinion but don't judge someone you don't know base on their comments! And guess what that's why people join sites like this so they can have more input and share their ideas. And by the way even a kid would be entitled for his opinion.

I agree with both sides though, it IS an awesome design no matter how you turn it around, but it might stray too far from the predator we came to love over the years. It all depends on what he'd do with the other helmets.

The more I see this design, and now in color, the more I like it. Steve really outdid himself in this design, although I can't help but see a small resemblance to your Terminator bio Jason. Especially in the nose area. I could also see the blades being sculpted separately, it would be way to hard to mold as one piece. It looks like it actually could be optional, like "4 bios in 1", with blades, without all blades, with top blades only, and with bottom blades only? I hope they release more pics on the 19th. It might just be me, but does it look like it would fit a P1 head?

I agree completely! All weapons and blades tucked into the armor like on the new stealth fighters. The plasma cannon could be encased into the back armor. Two doors fold open and the cannon rotates up. The blades are fully encased into the gauntlet. Where the blades normally come out, that would slide open and the blades would fold out.

Hmmm...I don't see any of the Terminator Bio in there...maybe its just me tho. If the blades were removeable and configurable that would be cool...

I would credit it more to the cultural differences they have. A toyota prius looks nothing like a camaro for instance... Same as a MiG-29 looks nothing like a Tornado.

Steve had said that the glyphs on the bio are very similar to those of AVP-R just a different dailect.
