Sideshow 1:1 Endo arm display tube

I've won this tube off eBay, and it came in today. It fits...

From the description, it says it is from "a drum scanner from the 80's". No model type given. The top is ALL METAL, and is heavy, but not top heavy that it will fall over. The plastic is 1/4" plexi glass, and is very nice. No scratch whatsoever. I love it.

The top even has a hole to put some kind of light to light up the tube..

Jeez, I see that now in the second pic. It looked white in the others. Very cool, one of a kind find plus the metal top really sets it off.
