Does anyone have the Side Show Jaws maquette?

If so, how is it? It looks great in the pics, I was wondering if what you got was as good as in the pics.

I would like to see you have got it displayed as well.

I plan on getting one and I'm thinking of displaying it with a mini Jaws Poster and a Movie Maniacs Mc Farlane toy scene.

I have it and it is a VERY nice piece. Easily the best Bruce replica available.

The mouth area is not 100% accurate but it's still a big and impressive piece.

Get it.

All in all it seems to be a worthy piece.

My wifes anut and uncle live at the cape, so we took a few days off a couple of weeks ago to go visit and went to Marthas Vinard while we were there and toured the locations where they filmed Jaws. He also has several pictures on slides he showed me that he took while they were filming Jaws anyway he has someway of scanning the slides into his PC so he is going e-mail them to me so it might make a cool display next to little Bruce.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive - sideshow screwed up my order and sent me the wrong product, now they won't send my my JAWS maquette until the mistakenly sent item is returned...and I'm not allowed to post it, has to be collected by their courier from me between Mon-Fri which is bloody difficult as I'm at work all week. :angry

Bloody nightmare, I'm not impressed with SS euro warehouse one little bit. Someone needs a boot up their arse over there IMO.

Rant over.

Anyway, it does look like a fantastic piece and when I FINALLY receive mine I'll be sure to post a few pics here of my display.

Hey al some guy in the sideshow forum lives out in the uk and he was accidently sent a jaws insted of his Frank Black.Just wanted to let you know just in case.

Hey - almost a month later, my Bruce finally arrived today.

It is a great piece - bloody big too. I ordered the LE version with the blueprints and so on.

Here are a few pics - the display is only temporary, I'll come up with a much nicer way to display it than this but I couldn't wait to post a few pics..

Overall, I'm really happy with the piece. It's nicely detailed and makes a great display item.

There are a few areas of the sculpt which I feel could have been improved upon but I feel that in person, these don't detract from the impressive and enjoyable quality of the piece.
