Hey Guys,

I've never posted stuff I've worked on before and I came across this piece I did in '97. It is Jedi Master Ood Bnar from the Dark Horse comic Tales of the Jedi : The sith War. First time I ever did a mask. I have an arts degree and can sculpt, but never got around to it till then. Got materials and a book from Monster Makers and went from there. Let me know what you think.

I like it! (It's Ood though.:p)

Now, get him a handful of lightsabers to hide and you are on your way. Excellent work. Why have you been hiding away your sculpt pics?

Any PICS I have were taken on film before I got a digital camera. (Did they have digital back then?)I just recently got access to a photocopier with a scanner so I was able to get some PICS on my desktop.

If anyone is interested I could put up a few makeups I did when I went to Joe Blasco makeup school.:)

I had it with me in Orlando when I went to the school in '98 and entered a couple costume contests at some conventions. I lost by 1/2 a point to a guy who was an airbrushed zombie. Turns out he'd been a demonstration model at a booth. Didn't make a thing. One of the judges was Richard Hatch (Apollo). He and the other judges were raving about my costume. I thought I had it in the bag, but the zombie had blood capsules and drooled all over the floor. He won for some reason. I was ROBBED!

Always interested in that stuff. Monster Makers is about 20 minutes from my place, but they no longer offer courses.
