i got this from a member a couple years ago, its fiberglass. :)

last week i got the light bars from Jason at ASAP . :D

His site is WWW.PROPSDONERIGHT.COM

the leds are from Walmart christmas section :eek

i am still doing the cleanup but i had to show it.

i recessed the bars in the top like the early episodes. it aint fun cutting on $400 helmet. :cry

sorry for the crappy lit pics. i forgot how to cut off the flash so i held my finger over it. :lol

they show a bright yellow in a lit room.

i did add a few more bulbs than correct but i wanted a more even glow, not gappy looking. :angel

Hey battery powered. Neat. :thumbsup

I got some LED lights at Target this year, but they are the normal plug-into-the-wall kind.

though not accurate to the show, i always wanted to use the vac formed bars and put el sheet inside to give a continues glow.

i always assumed the lightbars are suppose to represent force field generators that projects an airproof "visor".

like the landing bays for the vipers.

Wow, I love it. If I ever have the time or the inclination, I hope mine comes out 1/2 as good as yours.

Excellent work.
