This is short but I just had to post it.

I think I want to add some stove polish and clear coat… but this is after coats of silver and flat black duplicolor acrylic lacquer. The painter tape pulled off some silver so I took a nylon disposable brush and hand filled the parts that peeled off. I ended up letting the paint in my tray get tacky (around 15 seconds) and dry brushed some weathering. I absolutely love it

I’ll come back with pics of the polish weathering if I even need it. The resin was a bit soft so I bet that’s why the silver didn’t adhere as well. More reason for a clear coat

I added metal arms to mine.
Wow, that came out stellar! I just realized after your post that both of the arms are missing on this.

It’s a cast from the real prop, I left the flashing under the rail for stability and i think it’s cool to see the dots made by the caster when molding the thing

The rear rail is intact but both arms are missing, so this appears to be between that damage lol

Your project from the toy literally looks like the real thing, it’s incredible
