Ugo Serrano made much of the Necromonger armor for "Chronicles of Riddick," as well as Witchblade costumes, Firefly helmets, etc.
He just finished this bit of armor for a client:
That's all steel, repoussed and chased. (That is, hammered from the back and the front.)
