It's sad that $80 is cheap for a Canon these days, too : /I just watched this Canon Y shoot up in a last-minute bidding war. Granted it's got it's leather case and some other accessories, but jeez.
What have we done, boys. What have we done.

I like this (a lot) better than the actual prop.Reveal innards are done. Parts list is too extensive/random to list it all, but the major parts are an 8mm camera lens, a ribbon cable from an early 2000s candybar phone, hard drive motor coils, battery contacts from various old flashes, a quartz crystal, a green aluminum boat light, and tons of soldering lugs. It's mostly held together with glue, and I weathered it with Testors flat paints and a pocket butane torch (really). I really freaking love this one.

I have these two. The metal one was out of a Y, the full plastic was out of an X (I'm guessing you probably wouldn't want that one?)Bit of an off the wall request -- does anyone have any spare Canon X or Y battery packs? The metal canisters that slide out when you pop the bottoms off. I'm in need of multiples, and don't want to pay the going rate for the flashes just to get the packs.

'Problem' is such a strong wordThat's the spirit! This whole collecting thing works out better if you just admit you have a problem.
One which requires regular therapyCondition?![]()
I think this flash handle pairs really nicely with the balance pipe emitterMy personal Custom Entropy lightsaber. Made out of a vintage Canon Flash Unit Y, some modified MHS parts from TCSS and a static Roman Props MK1 emitter.
