I love the artistic license on this.
If Hellboy or Vash the Stampede were Bladerunners, this would be their gun.
I haven't got the batteries for the electronics yet though.
Sorry for the washed out pics.

Frank,

That is from the new run I take it? What color did you use on the triggers, and trigger guard?

edit: Looks awesome. If you get a chance to get some more pics, I would love to see them. It is hard to see with the wash out as you said.

I used Rustoleum Silver metallic on the triggers and guard and Rustoleum Chrome for the ejector port.
(that stuff takes weeks to dry.)

I'll take more pics tonight with better lighting.

a new run?? huh, wha?
is this true?
will this pkd mag be available at some point??

I assembled a couple of these back around '96 or '97 before it was called the magnum. Very nice kits.

I like it over the smaller more accurate sized kit(shown below) he made later.

Rick Ross is offering them.

He is making an interest list now so he knows how many he has to make before taking orders. Just log in and goto the Prop Shop.

Frank, the new picture looks great!!!

Take care,

Tom

The magnum is somewhat different than the PKD1. The magnum is actually a combo of the PKD 1 and 2 with added embellishment. Rick origionally only made 5 built ups of the magnum in 2001. He is working from his small NYC apartment so is only making a very few of these right now along with the Snub blaster rerelease. He may down the road do a wider release if the interest is high enough. He doesn't also have the facilities that he used to. The Man is back though.

Is this better?

Looks very sweet. I left Rick a message that you posted it and hopefully he will check it out. He loves what people do to his guns. Don't know if he is a member here or not. I am sure he will love it.

Cool thanks. :)

Rick is not a member of the RPF but saw the threads and thanks everybody for their good comments on his work.

For years I have dreamed of just owning one of Rick's kits... in the past few weeks I have acquired three: a limited PKD2, the Magnum and the Snub... as far as PKD's are concerned, my life is complete. These pieces are truly amazing and will be part of my permanent collection. So much artistry and talent have gone into these, that holding one has a whole different feel than others that are out there. To use a phrase from a friend of mine, these interpretations of the PKD have more soul. It is the best way to summarize how I feel about these pieces.

I will start to post pics as I get further along on working/completing them.

Well said. I agree. Curious about which limited PKD2 you are talking about though? :love

I got my first PKD blaster in 97 or 98 when they where first came out. They are beautiful kits, and are an amazing interpretaion of the Blade Runner Blaster that is truly original.

Rick should definitely do a metal run as I think many members here would buy them.
