Shot in the dark

I had a deal go bad with trying to purchase one of Pete Mander's Alien suits. The short of it is I have the first half of the suit. I do not have the second half. I'm just trying a shot in the dark and wondering if anybody knows where I can get the rest of the suit. What in need is legs, head, tail, feet . I have chest, arms, hands. if any body has a lead for me it would appreciated, otherwise I have half an Alien suit for sale. This blows.

Did you try monsterroom? i hear thats a common place to get alien suits...but Dan is right, dragon skin is working on an alien suit that is looking pretty bad ass! You might want to chesk that out. Otherwise, how much would you be willing to sell that for?(as you stated)...because i am very interested

Yes this was with Pete, notice I didn't mention his name directly I just said it was one of his suits and the deal went bad, trying to avoid drama, I just want the rest of my suit but he said he does not have the molds any more and he would send the info of the guy (could be you) that could help me he never sent that info as I requested. I would like to have your number please so I can finish this deal hopefully before DC. Thanks for replying to my post.

I contacted dragon skin about a suit via pm he did not reply.

Dam that really sucks the big one kevin. Have you contacted any of the 5 Alien costume owners in the Trophy Room thread to see where they got their suits? Our own Scott,The Mortal Immortal, has an excellent suit pictured there. I'm sure you could get some good leads from them or Monstermakers should be able to help you out too.

But see I have PAID for half a suit. The other half didn't happen so basically I'm at a loss for this first half if I don't have a second half to go with it. I need the other half that will match this suit not just any half will do. Otherwise I ave to spen money again to get an entire complete suit, money already invested. I think Faken is going to help me.

Get some phots and compare the pieces you have to those you need and see how close they might be. You might find something you can use. Glad to head Dan might be ableto helpyou out in this matter.

as for what went wrong since its been posted public now. I had gotten tied up with an independent film in the US and stuff got delayed,refund was in order,,hope we can work something out soon kevin.

Cary that was un called for this thread has stayed somewhat civil. It looks as if this issue is on it's way to being resolved and i will in fact get the other half of my suit. I can say that I had a long talk with Dan tonight (faken) and I do know that he has a firm plan to help Pete out with resolving issues. If you have any open issues with Pete he has some help now getting them resolved now.

Hey Cary,

Pete and I have been working very closely for the last coupleof months and we've been delivering some great suits with the expected timelines to our clients, so yeah, things do change whenthe proper processes are put in place B)
