FYI.....he always carried a fart machine with him..he used it alot.:lol
esspecially when out to dinner at a fine resturant.......:lol

he will be missed greatly.
 
This is a great loss. Oddly enough, this holiday weekend I had finally gotten around to watching Police Squad!, some episodes for the first time.

GOD: Who are you?? How did you get in here???
LN: I'm Leslie Nielsen, and I'm Leslie Nielsen.

Sad news. Another great who will be missed.

I even did a search on here and didn't see anything, so I started a new thread and then 3 other threads popped up as soon as I was finished posting. I see that the Mods are on the ball as my thread has already been merged.
 
I was never a big fan of the Naked Gun movies because Leslie Nielsen was always Francis Marion "The Swamp Fox" to me, a hero. As a kid, I couldn't wait for Sunday nights and The Wonderful World of Disney, so I could catch the latest episode of Swamp Fox:

He was also the only person who could say "Oh my God" in such a way, that you knew things were going to be bad, very bad.

This is a damned shame. He actually made his original fart machine out of rubber surgical tubing and sold a few. He will be missed. I had hoped for a NAked gun 4 like they were talking about. A the Abrams and ZUcker movies won't be the same from now on without him.
