Shin armour

Just trying to figure out how to mount armour got most of it planned out but struggling with how to mount/ wear shin armour as it look like its supposed to mount tight around the shin just above the ankle. Anybody help me?

I made a set of shin armor from foam and attached elastic strap on the inside of them. Depending on how tight you make it you can slide your foot in or cut the back of the armor and tie the strapping together. I've also seen people use magnets that are attached to their undersuit. Good luck!
