I started this costume after watching the 2010 film Clash of the Titans in last October last year and One charactor got my attention straight away, Sheikh Suleiman, The D'Jinn nomads leader. I contacted Ian Whyte who portayed the charactor in the film and within a few hours he had graciously replied attaching a few in depth photo's of the Sheikh. After a few days of sourcing cloth for the outter garments and countless hours of sewing I then moved onto replicatiing the face, arms, hands, feet with actual wood which I then fossilised. I then began finding all the talismans, horns etc from various ebay sellers and after three months of work on the project I had finally completed Sheikh Suleiman. I really have to say it does attract a hell of a lot of attention when he's out at the events I've attended so far and I am over the moon with how he looks, hope you guys agree.
