Setting the eyes in a silicone bust

Do you prefer to cast the silicone with the acrylic eyes in place already inside the mold or insert the eyes after the silicone is cast? Is there an advantage to either?

I like to cast them with blank eyeforms in place, this way they can be popped right out and the finished acrylic eyes placed without distorting the cast because it's meant to fit precisely.. When people cast the eyes in solid silicone and have to cut a plug out to make the eye fit, it always seems to distort the eye in a weird way that looks very unrealistic.
