I wasn't sure if it was best to post this in the Costume or in the Prop section... anyway I wanted to share with you some picture of an exclusive exhibition dedicated to Sergio Leone that I attended back in 2006 where all screen-used stuff was exposed.

These are a few of the pictures I took. Plenty of guns from the western movies for the affecionados but also costumes from Once Upon A Time In America and others

Mixed lot of guns from several Leone's Westerns

Can you believe they weren't even protected with a glass or anything? None of the stuff was. I touched a few of them.
Plenty of guns and rifles

however... no screen used poncho+hat I'm afraid! I don't remember too well but I'm pretty sure Eastwood still owns the poncho.

I forgot to mention that there was also the famous pocket watch (first picture, on the left) from the showdown scene in For A Few Dollars More, the villain (Gian Maria Volonté) used it to countdown the draw of the guns. The fans will remember it.

LOL!
Thanks, I have more pictures but I wasn't sure too many people would have been interested. It ain't Star Wars you know? :p

I'd love to see more pictures!
Was watching TGTBATU & Fistul the other day.

I love how they make the Winchester look like a Henry rifle aswell.

On a side not, did they have any "Angel eyes" stuff?

"My mistake. Four coffins...":)

I'll see what I find on my hard disk, I'm sure I have more.

I don't think there was much of Lee Van Cliff stuff... not clothes that's for sure (I would have remembered). Perhaps weapons.
In a way the pocket watch was actually his but this is just details

enjoy these in the meantime...

LOOOOOOOOOVE the Sergio movies feel free to post what photos you DID take. Thanks for sharing and really cool to know the screen used stuff are still in existence and well taken care of.

Thanks for the pics. You have brought an argument that occurred in 1992 to a close. I said Rattlesnake, my brother said cobra. I win. Now I got the pics to prove it.

hehe glad to be helpful. I'll post more pictures as soon although I think it's just a bunch of details and original posters I believe.

Yes the original props are being taken care of. The costumes (and perhaps also the guns) all came from a costume rental agency in Italy... I imagine the one that originally supplied them. I even wrote down the maker of the guns which was written on a few guns (an italian company again). I believe these were custom made for the film.

The jewellery (both from Rohdes Colossus and Once Upon A Time In America) came from somewhere else.

Speaking of details. DId you get a make and model of the pocket watch used in FAFDM? The one that plays music? I always thought it'd be cool to get one but don't know where to start and most pockets I see don't even PLAY music.

great pics! If it can be of any help, I live in Rome, maybe i could help you locate or contact someone/something here :thumbsup

Unfortunately I never wrote down where the stuff came from (and I even asked and was told! Silly of me!). I just remember they were from Italy

Unfortunately no, I only took a close picture of it (a bit blurred but yet...). Useless to say that the tune was made by Morricone and not by the watch itself. Movie magic ;-)
