Seeking heavy duty platform boots

Like the title says, I'm looking for a pair of boots that are similar to these but will stand up to extreme abuse for a stuntman in our show. He takes very sharp turns in these and they fall apart :(

I've tried several tyes of Demonia's and these pictured, but they all tear apart from the sole very quickly.

Something with a 'goodyear' type rubber sole as opposed to a crepe sole would be ideal..

Any ideas on any manufacturers or ways to improve these boots?

Ugh. That is a tough one.

I can imagine that the sole rips off right where the boot connects to the sole when running and turning, right ? The shearing force is the problem. And that the sole is not sewn on but very likely glued on.
I´d redo the portion of the shoe that connects to the boot in a strong material, not rubber. The first material that comes to mind of course is wood. You can screw the shoe to the sole shaped wood block, giving it a very strong connection. For good traction you still can apply a normal rubber sole to the bottom. of course the shoe will be heavy, and the boot has to support his ankles really good to prevent sprains or even broken ankles.

Any pics of a damaged shoe ?

Thanks for the reply! I'll get some pix up in a day or two.. HE's gone through 3 pair! Yes- taking very sharp turns. He runs in circles around people.
I had one pair built with a hiking boot upper bolted to the crepe sole -with the bolts inset into the bottom, but the guy didn't use the wide washers that I asked for and the boots pulled apart within 20 minutes..

One other idea we had was to use a very thin welded metal plate long-bolted to the sole, with the plate underneath the insole - but the thought of a metal injury from this scares me!

Ideally- I wish I could find a solid rubber or plastic molded shoe. I've thought about molding my own out of a urethane or composite..

How about a few brushes with fiberglass between the boot and the sole on the outside, and a layer of fiberglass fabric and a few more brushes of resin ? You could paint it black when it dries.
