Search by Topic Number

So many times I try to follow an RPF link and all I get is the index page. That leads to me to two suggestions.

1. Can we have the ability to search by the topic number?

2. Can the link failure be fixed so we are led to the correct topic and not the index page?

Could these links be for the old forum (pre-conversion to vBulletin)?

If so, you can try:

http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=1234

replace 1234 with the topic #.

I am uncertain if topic #s were carried over or not, but its worth a test.
