Thanks :) I've been taking more time to pay attention to the details and really having fun with it. I had been procrastinating but made myself sculpt nearly all week and I'm glad I did. More updates soon!

This is coming along nicely. A word of advice, when you start using different colors of clay like that eventually when you start really getting down to working out last minute proportions and symmetry it can mess with your ability to see things right. Geeze, did that make any sense.

Thank you and Lol yeah that made perfect sense, thanks for the tip. I'm most likely going to end up covering the majority of it in the grey clay so I'm not too worried about it yet.

Without trying to sound too negative, this one looks better than your first one Kendra.  The only thing I would consider doing is make it a little meaner looking.  The brow line almost has a "WTF" look to it  ;).  How big is this one?

Yeah I gotta work on them brows still and thank you! My goal was to kick the crap out of my other mask and continue to improve. I don't know the exact measurements atm, still need to add more clay, but I'm sculpting on Monster Makers life sized head armature. When it's all finished I'll post the measurements ;)

I just now stumbled across this thread while looking around.

I must say... looks as though you are getting along quite nicely on honing your skills and trying to convey what you are imagining.

Nicely done.

Looking good and improving.  Do I see rake marks or a bit of texture there in the forehead?
Why yes actually you do lol, but it wasn't really for the texture in the beginning, but since I've been adding on to it, it is starting to work with it. Course there is a lot more to do with it  :)

Great looking sculpt, you have the shapes down nicely. Also....finally, I'm not the only one with two different colored clay on one sculpt!

Thank you and haha yeah I ran out of my white clay and well there was this grey clay that couldn't go to waste!

Yup....ran out of grey clay and ended up getting some more of a different color. Mixed it and still two different colors. Lol. Keep up the good work!
