Does anyone know if anyone makes tiny screwdrivers that are bent at a right angle? I have some tiny screws in my macrobinoculars that need to come out, but a straight screwdriver can't get to them.
when i've had to do things like that i usually hack an existing tool. for a similar project i cut the end off of a regular screwdriver then used vice grips to hold the little remaining screwdriver nub.
Depending on how small you are looking for, a small nail bent 90 degrees with the end filed flat and take a jewelers file to the end to make a standard or philips head. If you need a torx or hex head you're on your own!
I have a Mac Tools one, but it holds regular sized screwdriver bits. I think I paid about 40-50 for it maybe ten years ago- but it's a solid, well put together tool that has bailed me out of tight areas more than once!
