Screen Used / Accurate Imperial Navy Helmet?

I was just on EBay and noticed this helmet for sale. I thought I would pose the question to the pros..."Is this a screen used helmet / accurate?"

If any one has objections to the photo I can delete it.

Well, I wouln't claim to be an expert, but having made one from an example in the lucasfilm archive, it looks to me that:

1. It's too small. The real helmet is really big. There are a lot of helmets out there NOT formed from a ww2 naval gunners helmet...and they are too small.

2. The com boxes on the side are at the wrong angle. The circular nerny at the top of the boxes is differentl from the version I did.

3.Aat least 2 of the parts appear to have been formed in one piece...the real ones are made from several pieces. Mine is 9 seperate vacformed pieces.

There are other issues, but you get the idea...
