Scream 4!

looks craptacular....

I have mix feelings on this one...looks like one of those tv shows you see on WB or CW

I think what bothers me the most is the people they cast for the film....too many teeny bopper actors..

poster looks cool

I'll watch it... I watched the first 3, the lattermost of which i found MOST disappointing. So my hopes are not high, but as with all movies I give you one chance to impress me lol.

sidenote: i find it amazing that, imo, so many horror sequels are made due to the power of ONE unforgettable scene... i.e. the death of drew barrymore in the opening of the original. (despite the ridiculousness of the "ghostface" disguise)

Apparently this is the start of a new trilogy of Scream movies. I don't know, the first trailer was ok but the second trailer looks more interesting. I could care less about the teeny boppers in the cast to be honest, more interested in the fact that Wes Craven is behind the camera again and worked on the script. I'm hoping this will be a fun movie since my son is dragging me to see it on opening night. lol

Its not a reboot, that makes it amazing.

Didn't watch the posted trailer but saw one with Paul that had a scene ripping on reboots that made me chuckle so I may have to go see this one.

I'm interested in seeing it.

Yes, it's a young teeny bopper cast... as was the first one. I was a young teeny bopper when it came out. That's the audience they were shooting for. It's no different today... now they're just trying to bring in the "old" fans and the new teeny boppers.

My bad feeling about this- they're trying to hook "old" and "new" in this installment, but will kill off all the "old" cast. I certainly hope not... but I'll see on that one.

The other thing that worries me are the re-writes by the Scream 3 writer. I wouldn't pick up after a dog with the script from that mess. But everyone is claiming that it was just some "polishing." So I'll see there too.

Either way, the trailer makes it look good; and it will be nice to re-capture some of that feeling I had seeing the first two when I was just a kid. It'll also be nice to see a non-CGI laden, torture porn, re-make horror movie.

Save the cheerleader.... Haha Hayden P. said her part has a twist in it, but i doubt we'll be seeing a 5'0" tall murderer in a ghost mask haha

i'm actually looking forward to this. as others have said, it probably can't be worse than scream 3. and, with wes craven behind the camera again, i have decent hopes for a good film.

That gal wanted to speak with me, 'cause we share an interest, but I didn't know who she was... next time, huh?

I think I was busy watching a Bava horror, which is why I turned down the invite.

Again, next time.

I wouldn't normally go see this, but since it was filmed in Northville Michigan (where my brother lives), I will go check it out.
