Scratchbuilding a Warhammer 40k spaceship

Hello there !

I've started working on a new scratchbuilt model from the Warhammer 40k universe. This time, it is the glorious Maccrage's Honour, as seen in the videogame Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2. If all goes well, it will be over 10ft long. I'm mainly using foam core and paper, but bbq skewers, wires and some 3D printed parts are bound to show up.

It's still in the early stages, and will likely take me a very long time to complete, but I'll try and update regularly

Here are some pictures, and since I bought an HD webcam a couple of weeks ago, I'm trying my hand at timelapse videos for this build (sorry in advance for the bad editing, I'm still finding my way around that whole videomaking thing and will likely improve )

I first got "McRage" - like a limited edition spicy hamburger . Project looks interesting to say the least. Is it purely for display or is it in scale with any of the tabletop games?

Purely for display (at least I don't think there's a scale in which one Space Marine is 0.75 millimeters tall )

Hey ! It's been a while, but the project is still alive and kicking

2 videos for today, focused on the main antenna-sensor array-battering ram-kitchen knife thingy at the front of the ship. Bear in mind that the paint looks very raw because I'm just adding the main color layers for now : the washes and other finishing touches will be coming when everything is properly assembled !

So here's part 19 : more work on the front antenna, which is starting to look like a proper antenna instead of a weird lightsaber/sonic screwdriver combination.
