Has anyone had experience building a 1:1 endoskeleton? I don't mean building the sideshow kit, i mean scratch buildinh one from hardware store and found parts? I know there's the endobuilders site, but unless I'm looking in the wrong place there's not too much info there and the forums are down. I have a whole bunch of ideas but I want to see if anyone's attempted this before I make a start myself

(Oh and apologies for posting so many new topics in such a short amount of time)

There's a great issue of "Sci Fi and Fantasy Modeller" magazine maybe 6 years ago that had a nice big article about/by a fellow (who's probably on the RPF, I would guess) who made his out of wood, based on the standee, promo shots, and several of the models. If you can find it, get it.

There's also the out of print cardboard model. Not nearly as cool as one of the solid models, but pretty frakking cool, considering it's cardboard.

I'm sure club would be the best place to start, though. Unless you're antisocial. :lol

That would be the Scratchbuilt Endo built by Shawn Morgan (MorganThirteen here on the RPF).

The article was originally published in Sci Fi Fantasy Models magazine #54, and you can read an online version of the article here.
