the blockade runner I have is 40inches long so it will not be in scale but that is the idea to hang it up.

It could still work as a forced perspective thing if you place the SD near the top of the ceiling with the BR much lower and further forward of it. That's how James Cameron filmed one of the scenes from Aliens when the dropship dropped off the APC, the two models were different scales with the APC being a larger scale than the dropship but placed above and behind the APC the smaller scale dropship looked like it was further behind the APC and in scale with it.

Working on the neck of the Bridge,

The neck section is now finished on to the next part of the project.

I have fitted two switches for the lighting on the bridge.

Two people can carry it three is better because of the with.
My son and I can easily turn it upside down with out the bridge fitted.
