I wanted to share a cool project I was invited to participate in. SRAM is a high-end bicycle component company. The company chose 50 artists around the nation to participate in a unique fundraiser. Each of us was sent a box of 100 SRAM high-performance bike components and told to make something. The resulting sculptures are being auctioned off for their World Bicycle Relief charity on Ebay as we speak.
Below is my entry. The project was a nice deviation from my more typical props. But I plugged my prop-geek side in my artist bio on their website.
