Scar Helm Worth Buying!?

Hey Guys,
I'm kinda new here so sorry if I posted in the wrong place! I have already added a Intro about myslef on the Intro thread if anyone wants to check it out!? But anyway onto the task in hand...So I was browsing the Net for a descent starting Helmet and I saw this sit (http://www.homemedia4u.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=72_102&products_id=1483) This product caught my eye and i thought it would be a bargain.

But, is it possible to use as a costume prop or would it only be suitable for display on a shelf!?

PS. If anyone else knows of any Good sellers for helms or any great tutorials for creating helms, I'd greatly appreciate it!

And you wont be saving like a fortune if you make one by yourself.
Unless you already have all the items needed to make one which im sure you dont
Aside from that you would also have to buy paint.

So yes you would be saving money but its not gonna be so much.

You should buy one from Hez or Casey(biohunter) then learn how to cast one yourself and start to buy the stuff needed to make one. Work your way up and when you think you got it, try and make one yourself and see how it goes.

Practice Makes Perfect.

There alot. If your gonna try and make a costume to wear at a convention i would suggest going for a look that you like.
For an Example. My favorite is Wolf, Scar and Celtic. So I would try and buy/make the ENTIRE outfit of the one i like.

You should do the same.

Cheers, that's some sound advice! lol seems like we have something in common...I freakin' Love the Wolf, Thought it was Epic Win when I first saw it!!

Guess That's one for me, but shouldn't I go for something more simplistic as a first set!?
